Tim Tkachuk

Tim was a performing member of Pavlychenko Folklorique Ensemble until 1986.  He is still actively dancing and promoting dance as an adult.  He presently performs with the Adult Ukrainian Class at Saskatoon School of Dance and is a member of the University Ballroom Dance Club.

Since beginning his career in 1980, he has been involved in every aspect of the information management and technical support industry. His extensive background in the private and public environments enabled him to develop a wide range of competencies, including an understanding of the e-business needs and challenges in the health, legal, manufacturing, communications, advertising, accounting and education sectors.  He has extensive experience in management, leadership and marketing.  This has included manager of service for a computer company for 21 years, vice-president of operations for a fibre  optic company for 6 years, accountant/controller for several businesses, manager of audio/visual service for a production house, member of the Mid-Market Advisory Committee for IBM Worldwide, and served on the SIAST Steering Committee, Computer Technologist Program.  Some of Tim’s more notable clients have included:  Federal Department of Justice, Heartland Health Region, Saskatoon Health Region. Prince Albert Health Region, United Way, Saskatoon Crisis Nursery, Great Western Brewing Company, Sask Energy, Crisis Intervention Centre, Connect Energy, and New Life Mills.  

Tim has been immersed in assisting with local, provincial, and international events including serving on the World Junior Hockey Information Technology Committee, PFE Showcase, Co-Chairman fundraising and sponsorship, Past - President, College Park Co-Operative Preschool, Marketing Board, Saskatoon Folkfest Inc., and as an active member of the Saskatoon School of Dance, Adult Ukrainian Group.
